Kia whakatotahi te hoe o te waka. We Paddle Our Waka As One. Te Whare Mahana is whānau / family accommodation provided by CDHB for whānau (who reside outside of Christchurch) that travel to support a whānau member, who is in or using services at Christchurch Hospital campus, Burwood and Hillmorton hospitals. Whānau members must be prepared to share this accommodation facility with other families during their time at Te Whare Mahana. Stand-alone residence situated 0.65 kilometres from Christchurch Campus. 4 lockable bedroom residence within walking distance (8 to 10 minutes). Meals are the responsibility of whānau. Bedrooms named after native trees - Kauri, Tōtara, Kōwhai and Ti Kōuka. Limited parking on site.
